Representatives from the Mines and Geosciences Bureau (MGB) IV CALABARZON headed by RD Samuel T. Paragas, President and Chairman of the Board, attended the 3rd Commencement Exercises for Heavy Equipment Operation (Hydraulic Excavator) National Certificate II of the Rizal Quarry Academy, Inc., at the Solid Cement Training Center, San Jose, Antipolo City on October 19, 2018
The ceremony started with the Welcome Address given by Ms. Angelita I. Lee, Vice President for Finance and President of Eastern Rizal Miners Association (ERMA), while Ms. Olivia De Leon, representative of Gov. Rebecca Ynares and Hon. Nixon Aranas, District 2 City Councilor, gave their message to the graduates.
The Confirmation of Graduates and Graduation Message was given by RD Samuel T. Paragas. Certificates for Shielded Arc Metal Welding were given to the 23 graduates of the course. After the distribution of certificates, Mr. Jayson P. Elicarte, Class Valedictorian, gave the Thanksgiving and Valedictory Address. Closing Remarks were given by Mr. Rolly Angeles, VP for Planning and Research and President Montalban Aggregate Producers Association.
Rizal Quarry Academy, Inc. (RQAI), organized by the Mines and Geosciences IV CALABARZON, Eastern Rizal Miners Association (ERMA), and Montalban Aggregate Producers Association (MAPA), is a non-profit and non-stock organization that aims to assist the quarry industry of the Province of Rizal through manpower skills and capabilities. RQAI offers free TESDA courses that aide and complement the best practices in quarry operations.
